## What’s new in Elevenlabs v4

ElevenLabs launched Eleven v4 and Eleven v4 Turbo on 28 September 2026 and calls v4 its most expressive text-to-speech model yet. According to ElevenLabs:

- **It reads a script like a voice actor.** v4 is built on a new architecture and interprets tone, pacing, emotion and context, so the same line can sound gentle, urgent or comic depending on the script.
- **You direct it with audio tags.** Write directions in square brackets, such as [whispers], [laughs], [excited] or [pause], straight into the text, and even sound cues like [door slams]. ElevenLabs says v4 follows tags more reliably than v3.
- **More languages.** ElevenLabs says v4 covers 90+ languages.
- **Steadier voices.** Regenerating a line keeps the same speaker, and long scripts stay consistent from start to finish.
- **v4 Turbo is the fast one.** ElevenLabs built it for real-time use, with a median inference latency of about 100 milliseconds.

## Elevenlabs pricing: ElevenLabs plans or PromptWise?

## How to use Elevenlabs v4 in PromptWise

## Put a voice on your video

There are three ways to give an AI video a voice in PromptWise:
